In this issue, Revista Psicoperspectivas is focused in some of the current concerns that psychologists and social researchers are facing on a variety of subject areas, evidencing great tensions in order to advance knowledge and enable social transformation. Within these tensions and, based on the abridged articles in this volume, we must mention the effects of social processes such as social diversity and institutional phenomena, as governmentality-psychological work. Thus, the articles published in this volume are formulating new demands about traditional conceptions of health, work and education practices. The articles stand by their innovation in addressing dimensions that are now beginning to be made visible, in the light of social phenomena and dynamics still emerging. This volume is both a good input for other researchers in these lines of work, and a reading material for professionals and students looking to take the pulse of the work of the Psychology and Social Sciences today.
