Educação inclusiva e saúde mental em ambientes escolares: uma revisão sistemática da pesquisa empírica

A saúde mental é um componente essencial na construção de comunidades escolares inclusivas, pois influencia as experiências de alunos e professores e é afetada pelas estruturas e práticas institucionais. As evidências empíricas sobre essa relação ainda são limitadas, dificultando o desenvolvimento de diretrizes concretas para as escolas. Esta revisão sistemática de estudos empíricos analisa a relação entre saúde mental e educação inclusiva em ambientes escolares. Seu objetivo é explorar achados recorrentes, relações entre ambas as dimensões, práticas escolares relevantes e barreiras à sua integração. A metodologia PRISMA foi aplicada para selecionar 13 estudos para análise. A revisão revela uma diversidade metodológica focada em alunos com diagnósticos, bem como professores, famílias e equipes escolares. Os estudos destacam que a relação entre inclusão e saúde mental é complexa e se expressa em vários níveis: experiências dos alunos, bem-estar dos professores e dinâmica organizacional. Embora práticas promissoras tenham sido identificadas, elas ainda são escassas e fragmentadas. Além disso, barreiras estruturais, culturais e relacionadas à formação persistem, impedindo que a saúde mental seja totalmente integrada como um eixo transversal da inclusão. A discussão se concentra nos desafios de alinhar a saúde mental escolar com os princípios da educação inclusiva.
