The violation of boys, girls and adolescents right's is a global problem, against which Chilean public policy is still facing the challenge to articulate an effective response from a rights perspective. The purpose of this research is to analyze the intervention programs for children and family abuse and to establish how they get configured around a childhood policy in Chile (or the lack of such). The research used as sources of information national programs through the analysis of technical documents and interviews with experts. Results indicate that in the current Chilean context, there is a lack of efficient legislative instruments or updated childhood plans to articulate the State response efficiently, and that there is no comprehensive childhood and family public policy. Thus, we conclude that there is a lack of a framework that would allow the convergence of efforts from a standpoint centered on the subject and his/her rights.Downloads
