For some decades, the notion of "sexual diversity" has been installed in the scientific discussion in Social Sciences. This has been driven by the actions of social movements that seek to claim relegated sexual rights. Among the social movements, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, transvestites, intersexes and queer (LGBTTTIQ) have stood out; as well as groups that defend traditional heterosexuality, as a counterpart. This international call aims to problematize the different uses of sexual diversity, answering questions such as Why is sexual diversity defined as a sphere of public policies and social and educational management? What psychosocial effects are generated?, of these constructs about the LGTBI collectives, What theoretical perspectives are used in the analysis of sexual diversity?, and to promote "a critical reflection on the logic and uses of the concept of "sexual diversity" in various areas: public policies, social interventions, specific institutions, specific sectors and collective action, and also the emergence of new movements of social identity.Downloads
