Abstract

Psicoperspectivas. Individuo y Sociedad, celebrates 20 years of life. In these two decades, the journal has contributed to the dissemination of research in Psychology and Social Sciences in Chile and Latin America. The breadth of works, topics and social issues addressed in its 21 volumes allow us to state that its contribution has been important in building the discipline in our country, being part of a relevant professional and scientific tradition, analyzed from a documentary and historiographic perspective. Throughout these years, an editorial identity has been forged, based on the work of authors, reviewers, students, as well as the different editorial committees that, with great commitment and determination, have positioned Psicoperspectivas as a reference in the field of Critical Psychology, in a permanent dialogue with the Social Sciences. After 20 years, we see our journal as a living and developing entity, which advances by leaps and bounds in its autonomy and which has gradually conquered its own place in the contemporary world.
